Find the product you wish to add to your label list and make sure it’s displayed within the product view on the product, offers or chrismas screen. Click the product within the table and you will notice a drop-down menu appear.
Click ‘Add item to shelf labels’ in the drop down menu (figure 1) and you will see a new menu pop-up on the screen, this is the 'Add to shelf labels' pop-up.
There are two different methods for adding the item to the shelf label list these are shown below:
First select the style of the shelf label. About a quarter of a way down the pop-up you will see a drop down menu, just below the white box labelled 'Retail price', click on it with your mouse and you will be presented with a number of options. For a normal shelf label and not a special offer one click one of the items in the list that do not have 'Special Offer' within the writing.
Once you have selected the Label style, you need to decide whether to use the retail price in the catalogue or another. If you wish to change the price which appears on the label, find the check-box labelled 'Use retail price' (Figure 3) which is just above the style drop down menu and click it once with the mouse to untick it.
You will notice now that the white text-box labelled 'New price' is no longer greyed-out. Enter a new value into this text-box to change the price shown on the shelf label.
If you are happy with the catalogues retail price you can leave the 'Use retail price' check-box ticked.
Next you need to enter a number in the white-box labelled 'Amount'. This denotes how many shelf labels of this product and style you wish to print when it comes to printing them.
Once you are satisfied you can press 'Update preview' to preview the shelf label in the grey box towards the bottom of the pop-up.
If you are not satisfied with the look of the label, you can make the necessary changes and click 'Update preview' once again.
Once you're satisfied with the look of the shelf label, you can then click the 'Add' button located in the bottom right of the pop-up. This will add your shelf label to the shelf label list found on the 'Shelf Labels' screen.

You then need to enter a special offer price and the header text for the special offer label. First find the two text boxes (figure 6), they are placed just above the grey box at the bottom which is labelled 'Preview'.
If you cannot find the text-boxes make sure you have selected a 'Special offer' label from the label-style drop down menu.
Once you have found the text-boxes, enter a numerical value in the box labelled 'Special Offer Price' - this denotes the offer price of the product, make sure it is less than the former price.
You then need to enter some text into the header text field, the default for this is 'Special Offer' so you may leave it as that or change it to something you're more happy with.
Next you need to enter a number in the white-box labelled 'Amount'. This denotes how many shelf labels of this product and style you wish to print when it comes to printing them.
Once you are satisfied you can press 'Update preview' to preview the shelf label in the grey box towards the bottom of the pop-up.
If you are not satisfied with the look of the label, you can make the necessary changes and click 'Update preview' once again.
Once you're satisfied with the look of the shelf label, you can then click the 'Add' button located in the bottom right of the pop-up. This will add your shelf label to the shelf label list found on the 'Shelf Labels' screen.
